Italian Turkey Meatballs
1 (32 oz.) ketchup
1 (7 oz.) tomato sauce
1 medium can crushed pineapple
1 medium bell pepper (diced)
1 medium onion (diced)
MEATBALLS:
3 pound ground turkey
1 medium bell pepper (diced sm.)
1 medium onion (diced sm.)
2 eggs
3 slices bread soaked in milk
Salt, pepper, oregano & Italian seasoning to taste
Combine all ingredients for sauce and simmer.
Make meatballs and brown only until firm. Drain well.
Put meatballs in sauce as they finish and stir carefully so
meatballs don't break apart. Simmer all meatballs in sauce for
about 30 minutes.
Serve plain or on pasta or rice.
