Pickled
Corn
6 ears sweet
corn, cut off cob
2 red peppers
4 ripe tomatoes, skin & cut up
1 pt. vinegar
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tbsp. turmeric
6 green peppers, finely cut
1 pt. onions, chopped
3 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. salt
1 tbsp. mustard seed
1/2 pt. jar sweet pickles
Put all ingredients except pickles in large pot.
Stir and bring to a boil, lower heat. Continue
boiling for 40 minutes. Add pickles (cut up) and
boil 5 minutes longer. Put in small canning jars with
sealable lids or put in any small jars and seal with
paraffin wax. Good with ham or meatloaf.
