Zucchini Pickles
7 lbs. zucchini
2 tsp. alum
1 c. lime
1 gallon of water
Let stand 24 hours. Drain, rinse several
times. 10 1/2 c. white sugar
3 c. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
4 drops oil of cloves
4 drops oil of cinnamon
Boil until zucchini clears. Seal.
